Question 7 Evaluation (Draft)

For question 7 iv decided I’m going to use the website Prezzie to play our old preliminary piece of work which admittedly isn’t very good, BUT, in our defence we had only just started the course and I believe that the reason we were set this difficult task of filming it and having the Rule of thirds, 180 degree rule and using shot reverse shot was to show that in the media industry you will have to do difficult tasks within a short deadline. We will be playing our final piece of work alongside our preliminary task to show how much we have progressed through the time we have been doing the course. We will have voiceovers over them both saying what we have improved on. The blog tells us to concentrate on the editing and camerawork so we will be mainly focusing on that.

We will have the two videos side by side like this with text and voiceover to point out things we have improved on.

Question 6 Evaluation (Draft)

For question 6 we decided after sir showing us a video with students holding up all of the equipment and explaining what they did for our film that we would do the same.
We have already filmed the footage for this questions answer explaining..
  • Tripod- Essential Piece of kit, to keep the camera steady
  • Camera- Sony HDV 1080i
  • Lights LED- To produce low key lighting, to create a tense shadowy atmosphere.
  • Camera Tapes- to record it
  • Bags- To keep the Kit safe
We also took pictures with a camera with us sitting at a computer using the different applications we used during the construction of our film.

Question 5 Evaluation (Draft)

For question 5 we decided to do exactly what sirs blog told us to do, we are going to have our film rolling with speech bubbles, Notes and even links going to pieces of our work that we have done in the past that are relevant. All of the annotations on the video will highlight how we made our film linked to other existing films to attract our audience, EG we will be comparing the character to the character Teddy Daniels as he is a middle aged police detective with mental troubles and a dark past.
